Cool down, guys!

Bob, I guess that was your president J.F.Kennedy who once said something like: "The thing that Americans have to understand is that they are not better then other people just because they are Americans". I fully agree with him. However, I think the same can be said about Latvians, Russians, Germans etc.

But generally - you're wrong, man. The US is the most powerful country in the world by now. However, the situation is changing. Economic superpowers China and India are emerging on the world stage, the European Union starts its own defence program, your high expensive is starting to slow down the economy. The US education system just sucks (sorry), and this undermines the very fundamentals of your high-tech economy. And I just don't believe that the US just can blow away such country like Russia, France, Chine or Iraq. OK, let's start with Cuba.

There is much more US-typycal problems I can count. From this point of view, Eastern Europe is the most progressive place to live, because a lot of processes is just beginning here. Yes, we have a lot of problems, but we are willing to solve them. And we will, I can assure you.

Best regards

Nick

Actual there is a point of view, that America - is a country of second-sort people! And based on, that when Columbus discovered it, many poor and uneducated europians, who had no choice for good life, moved there ! And the high society stayed here, in Europe. For your review, Bob !

Many will disagree,

but we americans have built our home, our economy, our culture and we are building our great future. USA is the most developed country in the world and all other weak little countries have no choice but to accept our superiority. We are the economic power, we are the military power and everybody has to obey our wishes and accept its faith and its place.
The weak and poor ex-USSR countries are the last ones to dare to say a word; any wrong move and they will be crushed like bugs.
The world is ours and everything said here are just last echoes of the destroyed "would-be" power, the USSR.
Nobody can, without crossing his fingers behind his back, dare to ask us, americans, anything we wouldn't like.
This is the fact, that many americans face when travelling to the underdeveloped ex-USSR.

Don't blaff, guys - indians believe there's another life after this one. I hope by then you'll be born in a better place in the world.

Always yours,
Best wishes,

Bob (Behave,Oh Baby!)

Oh, yes, many of us do just that. But then many a local idiot starts complaining that they can only be Programming Assistants, while we we "snatch away" all good positions, like Professors, Senior Scientists, or Senior Software Engineers...

BTW, you don't have to travel so far to ex-USSR to see misery: just take a bus to your local downtown (if you live in the DC area, I'd suggest Anacostia)

Igor

bobby, u silly diseased mind!!!! really - some people are wise, some otherwise.

as to me, i think america to be one of the worst, dullest and stupidest countries ever. american democracy is a disease, it can be cured easely with a hard blow on the head. u call us pathetic? ok, i am russian, and you want to convince me that estonia, or america, or whatever is better that russia?! do not make me laugh. you are afraid of us, and you are deadly afraid. that's why you are trying to offend us. by the way, you are illiterate, my dear computer assistant. you'd better spend you 48k per month on studies, books and such stuff. btw, as it was said before, americans are ridiculous lovers! all my friends who have been to america say that.

ok, i am sick and tired of talking to an idiot (that is you, bobby). bye

Sorry, Bob, but you pissed me off !!!
I think you are ordinary dump american, who knows NOTHING about his country! America is the smallest investor here! Or you think that WTO or World Bank (who gives us credits) - are pure American organizations? Yes, we are not saying that we'll reach your level, but we'll try! And Americans and other nations, that are so intelligent and understand the meaning of our development will help us, as they help other developing countries!!!
I'm sure that you don't even have university degree, it can be seen, that you don't even know what are you talking about, you just trying to proove us that you ORDINARY stupid programming assistant!

Poor Latvia - it was and always will be our little slave. It wouldn't have survived until now if it hadn't got our credits and investments. And you will always have to come to us on your knies to beg for money, because in at least 50 years from now you will not have the means to survive without us and my country will decide whether to give you the "change" or not.
Nobody can ever protect you from us, with our strong economy and a lot of money. You will never reach our level of development, Latvia will always be a poor fascist guy that thinks he is something.
The former USSR is one big dirty place in the world and should know its place: in the corner of the world.

Silly Bob!!
I work for your government and live in Latvia. At least we can see that there is an exact president in our country. Poor you.. so long no president.. counting.. recounting and all this stuff is because of your silly voting system... Still the perfect States??? You're kidding... And not only we know that the most beautiful women live in Latvia. One of my friends (He is American) said: "What can I see in States? My Mom is fat, my Sister is fat... Why should I stay there?" And Americans are not the best husbands or boyfriends either as far as I have heard...
Don't forget, folks! There is no good or bad country... Dont be so foolish and check out more than your backyard... respect... I have many reasons to believe that other people could do lots of strange things (I didn't mention foolish, silly, dumb).. and their nationality doesn't matter... thay are dumb but not a whole country...
Take care,
me

How do you, Bob, know that they don't ask your government money, or you meant your personal money?
Anyway, it is pitty, that you didn't like Latvia, I suppose something bad happened to you, because you almost hate us, while many foreigners adore Latvia and Riga!!! Its your subjective view and of course you have right to think that! Just try to keep cool, because it is not pollite to use such words, you have been using! OK?

i'm not a professor,
i'm just a Programming assistant in one medium sized company.
i've been 2 many countries and beleive me - even some african countries are better than former USSR - at least it is warmer there...and they don't ask OUR money

Do you want to say, that you are UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR??? 8) Well, poor americans to have such a professor like you !
You want to compare uncomparable things - former USSR states and US !!! Noncence ! That means that you are not so clever and intelligent man!!! Hence, there is no sense in your bullshiting ! :)

Bob, you're wrong
I've also been 2 several former SU republics
Ok, they're poor, but they have their joy, their spirit and devotion. I hope these countries will get their economies going.
don't be so arrogant - just because you're from U.S. doesn't mean you're better.
they shouldn't go to the west, let them try to develop their countries

people, you're all pathetic,

Latvia is poor : my miserable (U.S.) wage of 48.000 USD a year is like tens of times higher than a university professor in your stupid country.
stupid = your attitude to fascism.
even Russia is better - ofcourse it's better: there I at least saw great nature, friendly people and you can REALLY go out in Moscow - a city much richer, brighter, attractive than Riga or smth.
The thing is - the best place to go to in the underdeveloped postcommunistic countries like latvia, ukraine, kazakhstan or russia is estonia - this country resembled someting one can call a state.

For me as a U.S. citizen, your "east europe" is just deep shit - i suggest you try to emmigrate to US or to west europe to get a better life, guys.

Adio!
